Lesson 1: Don’t promote the DC of the head coach you just fired.

Lesson 2: Don’t hire a Temple coach

Holy ****. The admin just did both of these things at the same time.

Diaz is a combination of Shannon and Golden. You could call him Shangolden.

OP enjoy your Sunday... You're too emotional and I don't want to hear your ****.. after game 1. However, if things get turned around like I believe they will I hope you eat some crow on your way back.
 
Diaz would have done better to go through the growing pains at Temple before taking a major HC position

They said the exact same thing about Dennis Erickson. AD got death threats for hiring a coach running a gimmick single back spread offense. Leach would have dropped 60 points on that overrated UF team.

Sorry, Leach has been around a long time, and every major program that has had an opening barely even game him any consideration...because he is just a gimmick. Nothing more. He's the guy who can take a G5 or bottom-tier P5 program and install his gimmicks, and make them less terrible....that's his ceiling, and has been his ceiling his whole career.

it's less that he's a gimmick, and more that leach is his own guy and doesn't take bull**** from admin. he would never fit in with the douchenozzles that run the university (and most other universities these days).
