Don't take me the wrong way now.... I wanted to win as much as any Cane fan anywhere...
But after 12yrs of mediocrety... this was the "best feeling loss" i've felt in a while because i can clearly see this team's potential...
1st--- Game 1 for a brand new QB who showed flashes of a prototypical Pro QB who can be special.
2nd-- Our Defense is going to raise the bar this year.... our CB's had lighting reactions to create picks form errant passes. Our D-line provided FOUR MAN pressure on the QB-- we ran very few blitzes and still pressured Franks out of the pocket.... Our D DID NOT give up running yards!!!
Our WEAKNESSES:
OLINE OLINE OLINE.....
An OLINE that gives JW a secure pocket for 2-4 seconds and we win that game EASILY....
That's it boys and girls--- we literally need more QB protection and we starting winning.
Enos is going to start putting in more 2 TE combos to add blocking on the edge to give JW that extra 2 seconds to look downfield...
This team will be improving during the season...
