Double-digit point favorite over a hapless Northwestern team. Yet No offense Northwestern is hanging tough. I guess Wisconsin is another team which PLAYS DOWN to it's level of competition. Nevertheless the game is still early.

Not sure that they're playing down. You know styles make fights. Northwestern's defense is doing a nice job of limiting running lanes and tackling in open space. They can hang in a phone booth game like this, although I expect Wisconsin will have a little more success in the second half.

It’s almost as if there’s only 5 teams in the nation that beat their opponents to a pulp week in and week out
There’s really only one..Bama week in and week out handle their biz until they play some worthy..it’s CFB

There’s a big difference from northwestern to central Michigan though but I get your point.
**** even for a top 5 program right now like Ohio state they play down to their opponents level every year. And they were doing that with the most talented team in the country in terms of draft picks or so those years. It happens

Wisconsin isn’t playing up to snuff, but will likely grind them down. Northwestern isn’t absolutely horrid (lost to Stanford by ten, Michigan state by 20) and is playing good today. Northwestern 2015-2018 is a winning program 36-17. They also decently matchup to Wisconsin the way they play and if you go by recruiting rankings they aren’t far apart talent wise.

Wisconsin gets to have an off day, they absolutely brutalized Harbaugh and his insane salary with a team that recruiting-wise shouldn’t have the talent to compete for a quarter with Michigan. Off days shouldn’t happen but it does to a lot of programs.

Personally I’m more concerned that Miami has played so bad in two of four games that if they played that bad again Maryland could beat them handily.

Today this team’s best comparisons are to Tennessee, FSU, and Virginia Tech. I wish we were in a position where leading Northwestern by 4 at half was considered a massive letdown.

NW is built like Wisconsin except it harder for them to get game changing talent like a John Taylor.

Also, is it me or is even Wisconsin trying out more spread concepts then we are?

What’s up with Wisconsin’s see-through flesh-coloured pants?

Wisconsin just blanked ANOTHER team.

Do y’all realize how difficult that is? I don’t care who you play 3 shutouts in a season already?

This team might just be different
