What would happen to Mark Walton at an SEC school?

Let me start by saying that I think the Walton thing is greatly overblown by the media. The officer almost seemed like he found pleasure in arresting a high profile canes player. The media had no better stories to report on than some 18 or 19 year old who made a youthful mistake.

With that being said, what would his punishment be at an SEC school? Now that Richt's gone from the SEC there is no SEC coach who would care about this. I think a big statue celebrating his crime would be built on campus at Gainesville or Tuscaloosa. Nick Saban might briefly pretend to suspend him so that he'd have one more scholarship to use for oversigning. Once the season actually began Saban would mysteriously reinstate him.

McElwain would instruct Walton to cause a 10 car collision next time he goes drunk driving. Maybe he'd order Walton to run 10 extra laps for not creating enough havoc during his DUI. Butch Jones would tell Walton to commit rape next time he's thinking about committing a crime.

What would the other SEC coaches say?

What would happen to Walton: Nothing

What would happen to the cops who arrested him: They would be immediatedly fired and prosecuted by the local states attorney for entrapment, abuse of power, and unlawful arrest

Another unless thread. So where are you getting the idea that the police officer enjoyed arresting a 19 year old that had been drinking?? Isn't that his job?? Do you think or have evidence that he knew who he was pulling over when the stop occurred? Do you believe in the quote "have you tried not breaking the law and seeing how that works outs"? So we give this young man a pass because he plays a game??? What would be your thoughts if somehow he caused an accident that killed one of your family? Everyone should be judged by the same rules and laws and I hope Mark learned a lesson and gets his life together and back on the road to a successful career, in or out of football. And why does this board want to compare all to the SEC, is that the God that you worship and consider the playbook of life. So blast away at this post and make yourself feel that football is all there is in your life. And by the way, I have had seasons tickets for over 30 years and love the U, I just don't put it ahead of my life and morals.

I don't normally respond but the humanity thing comes into play in me when a sincere poster is responded to like he shouldn't post on a board full of geniuses so here is an opinion. I think the punishment would be similar (A game or two) but I'm concerned that it may be three because we threw a kid off the team for a similar offence recently.

Regarding your last sentence, you have posted the same stupidity on several occasions regarding Walton and the walkon kicker with dozens of offenses.
So, I have to ask......are you an imbecile or simply trolling?

Another new account for this cumsock? The same schtick pretending to like UM but doing nothing but rehashing the same "Who's the worst Canes coach?" and Walton threads.
