Also yall really acting like over the first 2 games they were obviously trying to get everyone touches - especially the young guys. Combined with fact Toney is GOING TO get 10 targets/touches absolutely min per game... Idk what the surprise or negativity? Is it purely based on the 3 drives Dawson forgot how to call anything except for a screen?... I mean Dawson has those moments all the time. I wouldn't worry about Barkate much personally. I do think losing Josh Moore hurts though.... Hopefully Wingo and Jacobs step up.

Im becoming less and less of a person who believes you need different body-types out of your WR core. Like having that 6'4" 200lb wr isn't some neccessity. What you need is different skillsets and players that can be schemed to do different things. So if Josh Moore is used as the guy who can reliably win a 1 on 1 slant and catch in traffic as well as go deep.... we don't need a 6'4" type for that role to be successfully filled. We just need someone who will do that job well. I think Wingo can do that.

Talk me through this, @skyman.

3rd and clear passing down. Bunch to the field side. Barkate is isolated to the boundary. He gets zero separation (one of the plays I mentioned and people told me I was wrong that he was struggling to separate on key plays) and not even a glance anyway from Mensah. Concept isolates Lofton (??) on the fade route.

What exactly is stressing the defense here? Maybe hit Moore in the middle of the field with anticipation. If I'm playing DB against this concept, I'm not stressed out nearly as much as I should be.

- Jacobs or Wingo should be where Barkate is lined up.
- Barkate should be in the bunch lined up where Lofton went

Now you've given the defense problems.

The right read and safer throw here is to #3 Josh Moore between the hashes. Put it on his number and he blows by that safety trying to get in phase. By this time in the game, I think the pressure was starting to speed up Mensah. The ineptness of the interior OL is starting to create cascading effects like misreads and poor execution. In this same picture you see the LG whiff on his help block, basically he was just in the way.

He’s bipolar as an OC. That’s my only explanation. I can’t watch that 2nd half without throwing up.
