Lofton for me .. with all hype around him Dawson better not eff it up with him.

Yes I want to see Lofton score TDs and Lightfoot, Blount, Pickett and McConathy ripping QB heads off, but it's Trader I want to see. Jojo needs to be THAT DUDE. If he is, the narrative about crappy results from our WRs loses steam. Plus I like the kid and want to see him and the team succeed.
 
The only answer is a young WR, likely Trader and/or Carr.

I know Beck is good, I know the line is good, I know the backs are good, I'm very confident Lofton will be, at worst, pretty good.

If Trader or Carr truly breaks out, this will be a Top 15-20 offense again and we're going to be a very good football team.

I can see if someone wants to give one of the Safeties an honorable mention, but if you're answering this question in terms of what makes the team the best it can be, it's Trader or Carr (or really any young WR) blossoming into someone headed towards being a high NFL pick.

Trader on offense

I am going to kinda go in a different direction, and maybe this is crazy to say, but Bissainthe on defense. He has gotten statistically better each and every season. Last year career high in tackles with 59 total. However, he came in ranked the #16 LB in the country. I just think with the new DC and the ability to play fast and think less, could he have the season that propels him to that Butkus finalist type player?
 
Both of the Chicago guys. It would also be nice to see Joseph actually do something.
