What needs to happen for us to get in if we lose to Clemson?

Assuming we are able to beat UVA and Pitt, what scenario would have to unfold in order for us to make the playoff if we lose to Clemson? I ask because this team seems a lot like Iowa in 2015, which barely lost to Michigan State in the conference championship and was snubbed.

Alabama has to win out and we gotta dominate these next two but in reality we can win the acc championship we’ll just have to let things play out.
 
Alabama would have to win out and Wisconsin would have to lose. In this scenario Alabama would b undefeated and there would only be 4 one loss teams in Oklahoma, Clemson, Wisconsin, and Miami. Id like to think we would get in over Wisconsin if their loss comes in the Big 10 championship game.

I can't see 2 1 loss ACC teams getting in. The ACCCG is for the one playoff spot the ACC will get.

If Ohio State blows out their remaining opponents, including an undefeated Wisconsin team, I'd be very concerned about them jumping us if we had one loss. There was so much talk about 2-loss Penn State being in last year and they'll ***** us over any chance they get. A lot will depend on where they rank us tomorrow. If #2 , then we have a chance to lose the ACCCG and get in. If we're 3-5, then we'd probably need to beat Clemson to get in.

Man I don't know. That beat down they suffered to Iowa won't go away. They were flat out monkey stomped. I think a CLOSE loss to Clemson would get us in over any two loss team. We would have quality wins, and no bad losses.

They would say "who are the best 4 teams right now". They'd make up excuses like Meyer did about how they were coming off the Penn State win and had a letdown. It would definitely have to be a close loss to Clemson for us to be considered.

Best case scenario.


Michigan beats Wisconsin badly. Ohio State beats Wisconsin and wins the big ten champ game

No way Ohio State gets in after that Iowa game, 100% ruled out



Alabama beats Auburn AND Georgia


Auburn UGA and Wisconsin are all left out for a one loss Miami team in this scenario


I could be mistaken.... But In this scenario Miami would be the ONLY 1 loss non championship team

If OU loses in the Big 12 championship, Wisconsin wins Big 12, Alabama wins SEC, and Clemson wins ACC, we would be the only one loss Power 5 team. That probably gets us in.

But let’s just win out and make it easy.

which sucks considering all everyone was talking about for awhile was how UGA and Bama where both getting a spot, so only 2 teams can come from the same conference if they are sec
 
Some one needs to post the Kelly's Hero clip of Donald Southerland telling Moriarity about the Negative Waves.

We are not going to lose to Clemson.
