What is this teams ceiling in terms of wins this year?

Realistically what can we expect as a best case scenario record wise? This of course is taking into account this coaching staff's ability or lack thereof.

Louisville-L
FAMU-W
Arkansas St-W
Nebraska-L
Duke-W
Georgia Tech-W
Cincinnati-W
Virginia Tech-L
North Carolina-W
Florida State-L
Virginia-W
Pittsburgh-W

This is the absolute best case scenario assuming that the defense has greatly improved and assuming that Coley, Kaaya and the offense somehow get untracked and find their groove. Personally I think Al is toast and that he loses the team completely by the Duke game.

However if he manages to take care of business tomorrow and escapes Nebraska then we may be respectable. Whatever the case, I expect us to lose 2 games we have no business losing and this team isn't likely to pull any major upsets. I think 5-7, 6-6, 7-5 are very possible if not likely. No way Goldilocks survives that. Right now I'm saying 7-5 tops.

6-6 or 7-5. That's what I figure too. Hate to say to say it but it is what it is.

Ceiling is 8....but they'd need a lot of balls to bounce their way to get to that point.

6-6 is likely, which incidentally would make us bowl ineligible considering not all 6 wins are against FBS teams.

9 because we can beat Nebraska. They are not a good team. We can beat UNC. We can't beat VT or FSU.

we can beat every team remaining expect FSU. Nebraska is not a good team and i don't understand why year in and year out there hyped up like they are. VT will be tough on the road and that game will define our season.

I agree with you that Nebraska is not a great team. I almost put the ceiling at 9 wins. The thing is that this team or staff has given me no indication that they are up to the task of beating a decrnt team on the road in a hostile environment like Lincoln. This is especially true given our strggles offensively with a true freshman at the controls. The VT game will resemble the games in 99 and 03 up in Blackturd. The home game vs FSU will look exactly like the Ray vs Janay elevator bout with Al playing the role of the battered female. Jimbo is going to knockout Al, spit on him then proceed to drag him around the field.
