Truth be told, I don't really want to get to know Indiana. All I want is for the Canes to whip some *** with the belt--leaving no doubt who #1 is--and running them all out of town (of course, after their fans have poured all of their dollars into the SoFla economy)

I don't think their is a official meaning for Hoosier other than someone from Indiana. The campus is nice and it's a good school. We are about to end this fairy tale they are riding.

Still not clear how they got the nickname Hoosiers lol

It was the 1800s fancy way of saying “Pillow Biter”. The origin of the phrase was that men from Indiana have a predisposition for taking it up the tailpipe, with the “giver” yelling “Who’s your daddy”.

Through linguistic drift “Who’s your daddy” eventually became “Hoosier Daddy”, and finally in modern times it was shortened to “Hoosier.”

They didn’t play Michigan this season. Wisconsin was beaten 31-7 and they were 4-8, one of there best wins? Who wrote this article?? Am I tripping?

So where I’m from it’s a very derogatory term similar to redneck or white trash. Of course people I know from Indiana get upset with me when I use it like that lol.
