Last night. They are top 5 in recruiting every year and we are top 20. Also, we are missing about what 30 players from the past 5 classes? (EJ, Paul, Terry, AQM, Figueroa, etc.) Think that doesn't make a difference? With that said, we had the defending Champs on the ropes and just couldn't deliver the knockout blow, whether it be the td catch Berrios couldn't quite hold onto, the missed xp, the missed chipshot fg, the O'Leary fumble that wasn't even reviewed, the questionable officiating, the Dobard fumble, and most of all: the tipped pass that bounced 10 yards to the left directly into Williams hands as he is striding into the endzone. That play was so lucky it's not even funny. We had them stopped. Last night could've been a program changing win, but we're still making a lot of progress in the last four weeks. We need to keep building and win the last two and a bowl and carry momentum into next year. We do lose a lot of contributors, but we also retain a lot of talent and get AQM and Rayshawn Jenkins back.
