WHAT DO You think happened?

Pretty much he took the job to prove the uga guys wrong. That he can still coach an offense, his philosophy works. The sh*t obviously doesnt

Likely that the admin told him that he would have to hire an OC and he just fell on his own sword. He doesnt want to be the ceo type ...likely didnt like it at UGA...and figure if we win anything he wouldnt get the praise either way.
Its quite obvious considering we lost Diaz and he promoted within..yet was STILL set on hiring a defensive assistant with the open spot. He was completely lost and took the job for his ego and to start his son/family career.

UM did what I said they should do. Make Mark uncomfortable and he would resign. Demand he make changes he doesn’t want to make.
 
Poor QB play-poor Offensive play calling- told to find a better OC/QB coach. Realized his son would have to go. Chose to retire instead of firing his son.
