What are your expectations past midseason?

Beat the teams you are supposed to, and protect home court. We know this team lacks the depth needed to be a legit contender, it's also unlikely Miami can avoid the crippling losses that will keep us out of the bubble convo. People need to be realistic, especially with this roster. Miami finishing the season with 22-23 wins on the season is a very good run, knowing full well what this program was last year. If Miami makes the tournament, Jai Lucas may get legit consideration for National Coach of the Year, that's how great of a job he would have to do to get a rotation of 6 guys to the NCAA Tournament...

I think 22-23 wins is very realistic. Maybe win a game or two in the ACC tourney and make the big dance. Future is bright on Coral Gables not only on the gridiron but on the hardwood.

I think we may be in trouble. Every team we have beaten is below this line. We went 6-3 (let’s hope 7-3 with BC) against the worst teams in the ACC.

I don’t think 5-4 down the stretch will be enough to get us in and I think 5-4 will be tough with our schedule.

NIT we can’t shoot 3s (171st) and can’t make foul shots (292nd). Which will continue to cost us close games.

The UNC game is a must-win IMO. Very real possibility the ACC only gets 4-5 teams in this year

My expectations are low but getting into the tourney is still doable

This is the problem, people keep thinking this is a tournament team, it isn't, not with a complete lack of depth. That's why I said beat the teams you are supposed to beat, and steal a game. That's a successful season, especially knowing what the program was the last two years. Miami can(and should beat) FSU, VT, and BC. That gets the 'Canes to 21 wins. If the 'Canes can steal one against SMU or NC State, it gets even better. I wouldn't be shocked if Miami got a split between those two teams. Anything beyond that is gravy. Miami should also be able to pick up another win in the ACC Tournament, if the seed lines hold. The ACC isn't strong enough to get a team like Miami in, and the schedule didn't allow Miami a chance to pick up multiple big wins, because we don't play Duke, we only play UNC and Virginia once.

My expectations are to get into the tournament, though that could change if Tru never comes back.
