Hurricanes coach Manny Diaz sent out a celebratory tweet Saturday night for the seven high school teams from South Florida that won state titles this season.
Of the 14 seniors ranked among the top 100 players in the state by 247Sports to play for those teams (Columbus, St. Thomas Aquinas, Central, Northwestern, Booker T. Washington, Chaminade and Champagnat), three are committed to Miami (four-star safety Jalen Harrell, four-star defensive lineman Elijah Roberts and four-star defensive tackle Willie Moise).
