Kid seems more into clowning around on social media; dancing, rapping and reading poetry—than he does getting himself ready for the league.

.... sounds like it—and hardly a shock with Miami's culture; yet another kid not ready, who will hear back from coaches and experts that he's not ready, but will give some quote about how ready he actually is—"I respect what everyone is saying, but this has been my dream for my entire life and I feel my game is good to go at the next level."—only to go undrafted, like so many others before him.
