We are not even ranked, and fought #8 to the wire.
Lots of young-uns, lots of mistakes - for many - first time under fire. Many trying to do too much - some just a bit overwhelmed - that will be fixed.
It's not always where you are - it's how far you've come - and we've come a long way in spite of the juvenile mistakes we made - our hearts are strong, and no quit in these guys. Mistakes can be corrected - quitting can not. And they didn't quit. Did some really dumb schitt, but didn't quit.
We have a few things to work on - and should see a lot of improvement as we continue to play. All have some more work to do - coaches AND players.
Lot of heart and fight out there tonight - and they kept fighting until the clock ran out.
