First of all we losing that game no matter what, so not the point of this thread.

Elder punt return - I am taking the green and orange glasses off and I am not seeing a hold by JJ. Come on if that is a hold you could literally call 3 holds on every play. Someone tell me I am delusional and that actually was a hold. I watched that ref and it was almost like he had his hand on the flag before it even happened.

First drive chop block - Who was the penalty on? Never saw it. Was that legit?

Last offensive drive, 4th down, pass to Dobard in endzone. That's hold every time in the NFL. Every time.

That was not a hold. Refs in the 21st century feel like no punt return is official unless there is a flag on the field.

Thankful though, it helped further our cause.

We lost by 11 to a Cincy team that was starting their backup QB, lost to temple and Memphis and had backups playing all over the field and you're complaining about officiating? The refs were fine, it's part of the game.

What is the point of this thread? Good teams overcome penalties period!

This is excuse Al and company would like you to believe. We had 6 penalties for 50 yards. That not an insurmountable amount for a good team.

Regardless, just like tackling, we have been hearing about penalties for 5 years now. If Al doesn't have the issue fixed by now its safe to say he will never get it fixed.

You must have missed my first sentence.

This is what the penalty thread should be about:

We are ranked 93rd in the country with 7.75 penalties per game.

So what do you want to talk about? College refs missing calls, like they do every week for every team? What is your point?

No one asked you to respond to the thread. There were specific questions I asked if you are wondering what the point of the thread was.
