This year I’m tired of looking at the Coaches and AP polls that always have historical teams ranked higher or teams with a loss ranked higher than undefeated teams…

I created the following rankings based on pure win/loss record emphasized first, followed by point differential to account for both offense and defense.

There is no account for SOS and I purposely left out Army and Navy. It was to difficult to rank the very bottom since there were various games played. An argument could be made to insert Boston College or GT based on the above criteria.

I don’t like ND being ranked so high with their ugly loss to Northern Illinois, but that’s my own bias.

Also, I don’t care for Missouri being ranked higher than Texas A&M despite losing a head-to-head with them.

So much parity now it's amazing. This is why I'm so interested in seeing Texas. I think Miami is clearly one of the country's best teams based solely on the fact that with Cam they're never out of it.
Who else can say that offensively or even defensively?

**** yeah, I am really enjoying this season because of the parity and loving that there aren’t any teams that are dominating. It’ll make the 12 team playoff even better!
