Correct

Correct again.

It doesn't matter how talented a HS QB is. I think a mature QB like Ward and Beck (a junior or senior who have seen almost everything in a college game), gives you the best chance for success.
QB and OL are the hardest positions to play as true freshman, too much to learn and comprehend that early

Only thing I will disagree on your take @FL Cane is the Duke write up. The amount of $$ they dished out for Mensah, they’re trying to become relevant. I don’t think they’ll be satisfied very long with 7-8 wins.
Awesome write up, and I agree with a post above, would love to see this every week from you!!!
DUKE FOOTBALL DOES NOT MATTER 7 TO 8 WINS IS MAJOR IN DURHAM.

THEY MAY HAVE PAID FOR MENSAH BUT THATS IT THEY DONT SPEND MUCH ELSEWHERE. SO THEY PAID FOR QBS THE LAST TWO YEARS.

DUKE WAS ESSENTIALLY THE WORST DIV 1 PROGRAM FOR LONG TIME BETWEEN THEM N RUTGERS THEY DONT REALLY HAVE A FAN BASE...

WAS A PERFECT SPOT FOR MANNY TO GO...IF HE CAN GET THAT AMOUNT OF WINS HE COULD STAY THERE ALONG TIME LOL

We couldn't have put up 70 yesterday because Bethune played a let's not lose by 70 bleed the clock game plan and moved the ball just enough to execute it. We never punted and I believe scored on every possession but 2 including running out the clock at the end? And we went with pretty good tempo.

I suppose we could have put up that many if we kept the starters in but we were never gonna do that.
