Most interesting games to me in order:

Clemson at LSU
Louisville vs Ole Miss (neutral)
SMU at FSU
Colorado at GT
ND vs Wisconsin (lambeau field)
UCLA at Cal


Im excited to see what Brohm has cooked up this offseason. We know what hes capable of with extra time for preperation.

I also don't understand why SMU is only 2.5 point favorites at FSU.

How do yall see these games going?
 
i like clemspun, the cards, the semenholes, the rambling crash dummies, notre lame only because i want them undefeated when we destroy them! and finally the teddy bears

Completely missed that Louisville OLE Miss game. Man I hope Brohm stuns them

I would love to see Clemson win, but not sure if that happens
Brohm very overlooked HC, wont surprise me if he pulls this out

Pretty crazy that Luke Fickell’s best year at Wisconsin is 7-6, and last year going 4-8 was the worst year in program history since Barry Alvarez’s first season going 1-10 in 1990…..no wonder losing Xavier Lucas was an existential threat to them.

This is a program that went below .500 back to back years and hasn’t gone below .500 in any single season since ‘96. That’s all to say, I don’t believe they will be good and anticipate a ND domination.
 
Honestly, I think FSU pulls out a W vs SMU almost like Alabama last year. Their fans will say, "Well maybe Norvell is that bad", and then get smoked the next few games, ending Norvell's career at FSU.
 
SMU at FSU will be enjoyable to watch yet I don’t find it be that interesting. If FSU loses, that’s awesome to see them get egged on a national scale. If FSU pulls off the unexpected, they’re one win closer to keeping Mike Norvell around for another year which is also awesome.

Clemson beating LSU would legitimize Dabo’s endurance and delegitimize the depth narrative of the SEC. I just don’t see it happening unless their defense creates havoc, including multiple takeaways.

Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weiss have the most yards and points (Weiss #1 because of the playoff run) since green-dot technology was implemented for the 2024 season.

Clemson has several key limitations. One of their top DTs was suspended indefinitely, two newcomers tore their ACLs — one in spring and one recently — a transfer DT who Dabo signaled out as their best DT before the spring injury and Polo Anderson, their top recruit who was going to be the most talented DB they had; then there’s the new quarterback dilemma.

Dabo has lost three straight openers, four out of the last five, including Cade Klubnick’s second start on the road against Duke in 2023.

I don’t think their defense is strong enough and their offense will need a lot of luck or breakthrough performance by their qb, CV.
 
LSU is going to dog walk Clemson. It's going to be a long *** night for Dabo. Lane is going to want to make a statement in his first LSU game, at home, primetime.

UCLA - CAL may be the most fun game over the weekend, with Louisville - Ole Miss coming in 2nd.

Notre Dame most likely kills Wisconsin, but I wonder if Colton Joseph can surprise their defense enough with his legs to keep things interesting.

Week 2 is a **** of a lot better. Michigan-Oklahoma and Texas-OSU **** on all these games this weekend.
