The floor for this offense is, "very good". The ceiling for this offense is, "somewhere around Jupiter".

The OL, Lofton, Pringle, and a semblance of a deep threat. If those things are there then it's going to be a party.

The skill positions on offense might be the best they have been in a long time. The O line will have a lot of inexperienced/unproven guys but you have to trust the coaching there.

We lost the best DE duo in the nation but there are freak athletes all along the D line. I can see the pass rush still being top end but think the run defense takes a step back. Bain was a huge eraser there. We will need a LB or two to step up as well.

Losing Scott and Thomas on the back end hurts. There is a lot of talent there but Poyser needs to take the next step and Fitzgerald has to be more consistent. The CB room has to be one of the best in the nation.

Special teams wise has to be better. We need a kicker that can put it through the uprights all season long. It would not shock me if we have multiple punt return td's next year with Toney back.

So to me the offense takes a step forward. I'm hoping the second year in Heatherman's system offsets losing proven playmaker and the defense is roughly the same level. Special teams just be a little better.

Next year should be an ACC title and deep playoff run again. Gotta have health and always a little luck to make it back to the title game.
