We no longer have to fear the tie

We had good reason to fear the tie - most could not see it at the time. Can you believe this is how far we had fallen. To fearing ties as our trademark? 1980s canes would have grabbed that tie and stangled the wearer before he thought of calling one soft zone defensive scheme.

All I can say is in the end the only ones who truly feared the tie were canes fans themselves.
