We need to concentrate on only one thing right now

IMO if they are going to make a coaching move they need to do it fast and early so they can keep the recruits together an keep players from hitting the portal.

Nope. if Blake is still there it dilutes the possible candidates because no experienced head coach is going to want to work under Blake.

Whose hiring Blake's replacement? A question that needs an answer. Blake is awful but it isn't all him. Whose actually invested in fixing Miami football?

Fire Blake James. Manny can sit there for the rest of the season for all I care and then get rid of him. But the only priority right now has to be Blake James! Until this happens nothing and I mean nothing else matters!

Blake James is a puppet for the board of trustees—and the Miami AD job is a joke; a stepping stone for guys like Hocutt and Eichorst, or a lifer-type job for a guy like James who no one else wants. ****, Paul Dee spent roughly 15 year as Miami's AD—a job he just sort of fell into after a dozen year's as UM's general counsel—thrust into it after the flawed Dave Maggart ran off to doing the 1996 Olympics committee—in his short window replacing Sam Jankovich.

Miami has never had a real AD in the modern era of college football—and isn't a desirable job for a top notch guy—which is how a UCF gets a Danny White, who grew his way into the Tennessee gig. UCF is a better AD job than Miami and Tennessee certainly is better than both.

Diaz is the one who needs to go now, as it sends a message to the college football world by October that Miami is in the market for a new coach. Can't wait to do this Thanksgiving weekend after losing at Duke.

Wheels will fast be off. 2-3 is most likely going to be 3-5 or 2-6 in the next few weeks. Need to can the coach and go the interim route. AD is a completely different matter. James needs to go, but not before Diaz.
