We need a major upgrade at punt and Kick returns.

I think you need to put Thomas back at PR and see what he has without having to follow his blockers.

I’d actually like to see Mike Harley on a KR I think he could be good in that role. What do I know though.

Special teams as a whole needs a lot of improvement. They don't make a lot of mistakes, but our Special teams need to be electric. Thomas lacks the physicality and vision to return kicks right now.

We need a major upgrade in fans, too...

They don’t let fans block or pass.

True, but some fans acting like little bîtches after a 10-1 season and a chance to win the conference and make the playoffs...especially after the last 10+ years is just completely and utterly fûcking ridiculous! Sure, be disappointed, but come the fûck on...This coaching staff and team has some very far considering what our roster currently looks like. There is still dead weight on this team, and not just talking about bench players. Lets be a smarter, more well informed fan base instead of showing our *** like Gayturds do...

Might be the best post I’ve seen all day. I’ve been whining a bit myself and this is a good awakening to where we are. Especially in relation to where and who we have been. I’m pretty disappointed but in the end we still have a legit shot at the playoff next week with a win.

Specials aren’t even that bad. Feagles has struggled, but otherwise we’re fine.

Coverage units have been good, and we haven’t turned the ball over.

Sure I’d like some more explosive plays, but specials haven’t been a net negative.

And being down 12 schollies makes a difference.
The 12 scholarships thing won’t fly. Alabama puts their best players on specials, their starters. So, I have no problem with Homer...

But, blocking schemes on punts, punt returns and kick returns are hit and miss. Thomas has missed some holes, but they’re few and far between.

Not turning the ball over is a very low bar.

If Rosier can be criticized then so can Feagles.

Dead weight or not, Miami’s talent level exceeds that of Pitt. I can say the same for Bethune, Toledo, UNC, UVA, GT and Syracuse yet we struggled with all of them. The roster may not be optimal for domination but Miami should be able to handily beat the teams mentioned but Miami struggled.

You’re also right that we should be excited about 10-1 based upon the last decade + but it can be argued that Miami should have won 10/11 regular season games last year. And that was 3 Golden classes.

We’re all ****ed; I’m not trying to act like I’m anymore ****ed than you are but we’ve seen some level of this type of ineptitude all season. Now, it wouldn’t surprise me if Malik looks like Aaron Rodgers in Charlotte but it doesn’t mean I can’t talk about what we’ve all observed.

I'm with you man, but imagine, with the level of supposed ineptitude we still made it to 10-1 with a chance to win the ACC. Never under Folden or Randy did we even sniff such a scenario. Yes, Richt needs to update his offensive philosophy, and yes we need a QB in the future that doesn't limit us so much, but I can also sit back and marvel at what they accomplished with such handicaps. O Line needs a complete re-work...and the fact the whole left side is gone next season is a great start. It's time for the coaches to bring in talent and develop the talent they just got last year.
