We just need to stick it out for 10-11 months....

You have to understand that Golden is gonna fight tooth and nail to stay here. Why? Cause it's ******* paying him $2 mil a year man. I mean, if I got a gig that payed 2 mil a year, they would literally have to call the police to forcibly arrest me out. That is Al Golden. Dude is gonna make excuses and do whatever it takes for him to remain Head Coach of the Miami Hurrican'ts. He don't give a **** about winning or losing. He just wants to make his cool 10 mil from the University and then go retire somewhere with his best friend. Thinking he's gonna somehow decide it is best for him to leave is ludicrous. Ludicrous man. Sheeettt. And if he can continue to sell false progress to his gimp Blake James, who is also an unqualified chump collecting six figures plus plus to really do nothing, well, they'll keep the scam of "trying to put a good football and baseball product on the field" as long as they can. It is all a sham. Only person who can change this is the new President, with the blessing of the BOT. Only way the new president thinks about doing this is if he or she steps into a volatile situation. So, we need to keep protesting. Keep boycotting, keep flying banners and signs. Keep sending emails, tweets, facebooks, etc.

Meh, I think Shalala simply put too much emphasis on "keeping the program clean." I don't think it is so much a matter of her not caring, but rather our ****** success over the past several seasons has proven that you cannot make image your number one priority and have a nationally relevant football program. It was a dumb idea to start with, but at least her heart was in the right place. I still think we are better off without her; I do not believe that the repeated failure of this ideal would be enough to curtail her efforts, and the football program would suffer.

At least with Al Golden we began to see the administration trying to hire a good coach. The Coker and Shannon hirings were unacceptable, among the worst college football hires I have ever seen. I think that Golden, at the very least, was a good hire, even if he turned out to be a ****** coach. Stick with that formula, and we will find a good coach eventually. That said, we would be better off offering prospective coaches a little bit more money, so that we do not have to find these "diamond in the rough" types. I have long suspected we can afford much more than we have previously been willing to pay.

And yeah, Golden is as good as gone after next season. "The cloud" basically gives him another year. We all know that "the cloud" is no excuse for a 6-7 season in Golden's fourth year, but at the very least I see some long-term thinking and logical planning going on in one way or another by the administration in that regard. It's all politics; Golden is a coach who is very popular with the national media, and he did a very good job of making it look like the cloud is an excuse for his failures. He made it look like he turned down a lucrative job from his Alma Mater. He made it look like he was loyal to us in the Nevin Shapiro scandal, even when he leveraged it against UM to secure an undue pay raise. It doesn't matter that it is all bull****, we basically have to keep him for one more season simply because of the ****storm it will kick up if we fire him "prematurely." I promise you that this is the only reason Al Golden isn't coaching linebackers for Wichita State right now.

Tom Herman just win a national title with a third string QB.

Are you ******* kidding me?

Jones being "3rd string" was a good narrative for TV, but lets be clear ... Jones was 3rd team because he's the worst fit, of the 3, for the offense wants to run.

But Jones is probably the best pro QB option on that team.

Not knocking Herman, at all. But giving him credit for winning a title with a kid who would have been drafted to the NFL this season isn't an accomplishment, IMO.

Still ... You might be right about him being the next "can't miss coach". But it will be interesting to see what resources Houston is willing to give him. They fired Levine because they are "serious" about taking their program to the next level. And it's not really that difficult to recruit to Houston, Texas.

Herman may decide he'd rather stay at Houston, than come to Miami ...

And waiting another 10-11 months puts us deeper in the hole.

the only person who effectively keep the program clean was Randy. Ironic that Nevin happened during his tenure because he ******* WARNED everyone that Nevin was bad news.

Golden is just a shape shifting image guy. People - for whatever reason - buy what he's selling even when it's pathetic excuses like night games!!

And we all should have read the tea leaves. When they said that Golden wasn't going anywhere and he had added job security because Donna is stepping down and no decision would be made. He got an extra year and we were told this would happen early on. I have some faith though as I don't see any of us calming down, I think his teams suck wind and give up 3/4ths of the way through every season, and if past is predicate - he will be in the middle of a massive **** storm next December.

Even if the new prez doesn't care - he/she will HAVE to.

From what I know of, through legit, barring a miracle season by Golden, he will be gone after this season for sure. As cowardly and ridiculous as it is, and insufficiently justified, they will not fire him due to the buyout and lack of new president. Unless he wins 9 games impressively he is gone, and as stated he couldn't win with leading passer, stud running back, stud MLB, Mackey award finalist, top 12 drafted LT and more than enough NFL draft prospects, what makes you think he will win next year? Unfortunately he will be gone.

Knowing what I was told, here is what our motus operandi should be:

1) Recruiting - yes any weirdo or ******* that is contacting kids, seriously stop it, its just weird. And it does not help, recruiting kids is a lie to begin with, so let's not aid in hurting it. Regardless of the talent this fool brings in, he will not be able to do anything with it. There have been plenty of instances where a bad coach still managed to bring in top talent for the new incoming coach to take advantage of, i.e. Urban Meyer at OOF, Saban at Bama. So try not to be that fool negatively affecting recruits, we should still want to attempt to bring top talent in.

2) $$$$ - do not spend a dime on the program, nothing nada zippo, this action will speak the loudest throughout the year. With this action and this action alone, will the clear message that Folden must go be heard.

3) Heat - all those that can coherently and intelligently voice their displeasure, keep it going. Retweet those that do, share those that do and make sure the University and Flake and anybody else that has a voice are tagged in it. The typical ignorant sounding, reffy pitbull wannabe chusma comemierda from Miami, just be quiet, just retweet or share those that speak or write intelligently and see action #2

That is all that can be done. If these things are done, trust me after next season the cowardly ******* who coaches scared to lose will be gone for sure, and if all stays true then like I have been told now, Butch will be the choice.

Waiting another season to hire Butch makes ZERO sense. There is no way that is the plan.

If they are giving Golden another season, best believe, they will hire someone other than Butch.

I can imagine there are more than a few coaches who have been made aware that there would be interest in them if the job was open. And the ones with reciprocal interest will have their agents watching Golden's season.

From the final AP top 25 ... The only legit HC we could get is Fuente, from Memphis. Holiday (Marshall) and Whittingham (Utah) might be good options, but I doubt either is the right "fit" for Miami. Nobody else is leaving their current school to come to Miami, IMO.

You may be right, I'm just passing along info from what I was told. There are some here who know the few times I do give info the source is legit. Now whether he is right in the end? That's another story, but it does come from legit sources. Regardless of Butch or not, and again Butch is what I was told, including last season had Dumbass left to Penn State like he wanted, it still means that these are the actions we must take
