Nah man, this ain’t even a showdown.

I made a post two weeks ago that Nebraska was likely going to be a better team than last year because it’s statistically improbable for a team to keep going winless in 1 score games. Just dumb luck would make them improved. This guy (who I’ve never interacted with ever and have never even noticed) jumps on my post (after Nebraska lost another one possession game) and proceeded to tell me that Frost’s success at UCF was due solely to the “talent” George O’Leary left him. Not sure if he realized that O’Leary left an 0-12 team but he’s gonna die on that hill.

I know man. I’m joking around. I figured it was sarcasm. The Frost stuff came out of left field for me. Frost was good at UCF. Not good at Nebraska. I don’t think Nebraska is the easiest place to recruit at these days.

Exactly. It’s not like I think Frost is some kind of savant. Nebraska is a really tough spot for anyone

Frost took over a team that went 0-12 and went undefeated two years later. Whether or not he’s a bum, he certainly didn’t win because O’Leary’s drunk *** left the team in good shape. I mean, this isn’t really that difficult to understand. Guy inherits winless program, guy takes winless program and turns it into an undefeated program.

If Mario wins big, this guy’s going to give all the credit to Manny Diaz/

The 2017 UCF team had 1 freshman starter and 5 sophomore starters, some who may not have been exclusively frost's recruits . The rest of the starters were players that O'Leary recruited. The team was clearly upper classman heavy. LOL

According to the 2017 UCF depth chart;
"After an inconsistent 2016 campaign, the UCF offense returns some significant experience." And, "Defense was a strong suit for UCF in 2016, and coordinator Erik Chinander believes this year’s group can continue to build on that. There is significant experience up front," Plus this team had senior Shaquem Griffin.
