We have any legit shot with some bigs

LOL. It's really pathetic how completely uninformed the majority of the fanbase is when it comes to the program.
Idk why but some people hate research. I think people should take more pride in being accurate. Also comes with the responsibility of admitting you can be wrong lol

The 'are we running 5 guards per usual' statement is particularly hilarious given that this is a completely new staff and we literally have two 6'9 bigs slated to start this year in Reneau and Udeh.

I'll rephrase OP's question... after Caleb hopefully picks the good guys.. what's our big board on guys we feel good about getting this class??? or is BBALL hard to gauge and goes down to announcement day every time?

Or we running five guards per usual….don’t see any posts about realistic centers or power forwards.
We're going to need a rim protecting big in 26' class to replace Udeh. I was hoping Marcis Ponder would be that guy, but that ship has sailed. 7 footers don't grow on trees. Will be interesting to see with who or how that role gets filled.

Basketball recruiting is much more fluid and gets a lot less coverage than what we see on the football side, making it hard to predict who's going where. Coaches know, but they tend to play it close to the vest. And now with NIL, that only amplifies matters. Here's a pretty simple breakdown of how things work now. Coaching staffs and programs compile their list of recruits and if their value/budget doesn't coincide with what that player is looking for the school moves on to the next one.
