Right now we need the offense to score 50+ against VT and that game will still be too close. We need improvement every week to be a power house. We aren't there yet. The defensive side has taken two steps back during a critical stretch of the season. Beating VT is the only thing I care about. We need to fix a big *** leak on defense starting with Baker, Patke, and Rumph.

Can we ask Baker to spend a week with Brian Flores to learn how an opportunistic defense is supposed to play?
Also, can we also tell these juniors on the Canes defense with NFL dreams that (with the exception of Greg Rousseau) there is no one on this Canes defense who currently could get drafted in the first three rounds of the NFL draft, and everyone needs to put in the work and get a whole lot better this season and next season if they ever hope to get drafted on the first two days
