We beat notre dame with a B/B- performance

After watching the replays and reading breakdowns it's obvious we're no where near full go on offense ... yet we still dominated along the line of scrimmage ... defensively we're still not a full capaicty either, but we dominated there too ... going into this game everyone thought we'd have to play above our heads to "beat the runner-up" as they had all these guys returning but the reality is we had a revamped wr room and a revamped db room playing together for the first time our personnel and coaching are so improved that it didn't matter, we overwhelmed them regardless

Totally agree. Miami basically played vanilla, and dominated. This season is going to be fun to watch.

Carson said it best when he said it was the first game against players other than our own and there’s ALWAYS some unknowns going into the first game. And that first game was against a very good team not a patsy (my words, not his) and we were able to control the LOS and make plays when we needed to.

It’s been said many times by many who know CFB that the biggest leap in performance is from game 1 to game 2.
