that's how I feel about the canes right now. let me be the first to say that I wanted golden gone. I was just plain painful to watch our defense be lethargic and not make things happen, just couldn't take it. that ended when we lost to ga tech. Golden can say what he wants about not changing but I don't care we look **** good. the last 3 weeks in a row the defense has looked good. yesterday I found myself several times saying **** they look really good. Props to golden.

going forward I expect us to expect a close loss to fsu and 2 good wins to finish the year at 8-4 and a strong showing in a bowl game as duke's swan song. duke will break the single season rushing record. fsu as well as the rest of the football world will be put on notice that the u is on the way back.

for everyone one who wants to say we did it against 3 crap teams just ask yourself when was the last time we had 3 straight dominant performances? And for the people who don't give any credence to our defensive rank cause we play some cream puffs just keep in mind there are cream puffs on every schedule so it makes it all relevant.

bottom line we play with aggression against fsu and are able to get pressure the game will be a good one.

FSU is just better. So that's a loss. Feeling much better about UVA. They aren't a dominant running team. Think we win that. Pitt could be a challenge, but at home should be a win.

8-4, would've taken that in August, with Kaaya under center.

I just wish that Al and Mark would have let our guys play in year 1 vs the crap we endured the last 3.5 seasons.

I think if they let the guys play like they have, we can play with anyone. It pains me to know we have a good core of guys who can play but are hand cuffed like they were. Let the young men play, Miami style.
