I was doom and gloom last night when I was drunk from going to a wedding and fresh off the loss.

Today, I'm feeling good about this team again. We're coming up. We lost last night to the #1 team in the country - they're more talented and ahead of us right now. Hey, it is what it is. They're ahead of EVERYBODY.

We just need to keep improving, and we'll get there eventually. We should still be able to win out the rest of the way and who knows.... maybe we'll get another crack at Clemson on neutral turf. Just dust yourself off and keep plugging away.

I'm optimistic.
 
We haven’t played anybody who’s between about #2 and #50. It’s hard to tell how good we are, beyond the fact that we obviously aren’t a championship level team.

It’s pretty hard to compare conferences to boot, with the lack of OOC play. I do think the ACC is better this year than last year, but that’s only because the league was so awful last year and would have no place to go but up if there had been OOC games this year.

We'll find out what we're really made of this Saturday against an above-average Pitt team. I don't want to just win, I want a dominating, angry, relentless performance that this team supposedly has within them.
 
Everyone last week was saying we could beat Clemson's ***. I thought we could be competitive. I think everyone forgets that we were a 6 win team last year. Yes, we brought in King and Lashlee but seriously, that does NOT put us on Clemson's level, not even close. We are still 2 years of solid recruiting and winning the games we are supposed to away from competing with the big boys. The Pitt game, and improving every game after will show you if the most important thing that needed change, culture, is trending in the correct direction.
