Watched the Mario Presser

And then an actual head coach stepped in and outperformed Mario exponentiy with that same team. Mario came to Miami and exponentially underperformed compared to the previous HC with very largely the same team

"...you know, sometimes X's and O's get so complicated, and a coach gets so into that that he forgets the most important thing is players win ballgames."

Georgia, osu and Michigan qbs miss throws too. Miami doesn’t have a monopoly on that. If you watched any other college football, you would have seen the Michigan qb overthrow a guy for an easy td in the 4th and a drop on the same series. Tcu qb made a poor throw on a 2 pt conversion on a wide open rb that almost cost them the game. It literally happens every game…

right, but how long have the head coaches been building those programs with the best players money can buy? Our talent-level, culture and margin for error is nowhere near those elite teams.

In a transitional year, where our talent doesn't necessarily match the system and we've been decimated by injuries, we simply can't miss these opportunities to compete at the rate we do and expect to have a different outcome than what we saw.

Forgive me, but, it all seems a bit unreasonable--from an expectation standpoint and quite dramatic--to be outraged that our coaching staff isn't having the success--year one--that Georgia, OSU & Michigan are enjoying now.

he missed x even when he saw him. he sucks.

If we want to lie to ourselves about what this team is this year.
You are your record. If they beat Pitt and win a bowl, which they should based on the talent level and coaching salaries, it means the team is finally playing up to it's capabilities, and the coaches are putting players in the right position. It's a bad to mediocre team, but that team still needs to beat Middle Tennessee State and Duke at home. So, don't get me wrong,I don't expect it, but it could happen and it would be nice to see improvement after this debacle.

Which is extremely troubling, because only a complete and utter moron would favor a ball control, power run scheme with a QB, OL, TE’s and WR’s that are not suited for it.

His toughness and outwork everyone mantra falls on deaf ears when the players see how much of a clown show this all is.

In order for a coach to get players to buy in, they at least have to see tangible progress. What Mario has brought in his first season as head coach is a level of regression that I did not think was possible.
Cold hard facts.
