Miami finally delivered the knockout punch to Notre Dame at Hard Rock Stadium. Up by double digits in the fourth quarter of the home opener, the Hurricanes closed it out for a 27–24 victory.

Safe to say, the Canes were all smiles after this one — and grateful for Hurricanes Nation packing the house. Hear everything head coach Mario Cristobal had to say postgame, plus reactions from a handful of players.
