As if this should come as a shocker to anyone. After all of the blood and sweat that he gave, do you really think he truly believes that we just need to give AG more time to get things turned around? There wasn't ever any effing way that he truly meant what he tweeted earlier this week.

Michael loves The U so much that what he says publicly is in attempt to not destroy our recruiting as he wants it to be good. He is no idiot and knows **** well that Al is awful and not the guy.

Irvin's kid is about to commit to Corch Golden. You have to toe the company line lol.

And shame on anyone who thought him saying Goldie needed another year was an endorsement for this failure. He trying to make sure his kid attends the U.

But why does #47 has to say anything at all? Especially telling fans to "calm their asses down!" That's just as bad as ********....I mean BJ,...Blake James saying that Fat al is the right man for the job? No need to kiss ***, just give a non committal answer!

Because maybe he knows that brighter days are ahead, with a new univ. President AND a NEW HC after next season! :noidea:

Anyone who took Irving's public comments at face value is fcking moron anyway. You have to look at his motivation. He wants his kid to go to UM, and he might need a favor or two from UM in the future. He doesn't want to burn that bridge, so he says what UM wants to hear publicly. He's a politician, who has learned the game.

For all his faults, Sapp isn't a politician. He just says what's on his mind.
