Big article on the WSJ Online just posted discussing Adidas North American's President goal to make a big push to sign up to 500 athletes for endorsements over the next few years. Adidas hopes to sign 250 NFL players and 250 MLB players. Article also mentioned deals with both the NFL and MLB allow players it endorses to sport the Company's three-stripe logo on the equipment they wear on field.

Hopefully this will help build the brand and help Miami indirectly. Who knows but wanted to share. It sucks we have to resort to the most obscure items to provide any glimmer of hope with this pathetic regime.

As I commented in the original "outrage thread" about the move to Adidas ... Adidas is late to the game Nike has been playing for decades. Perhaps it was their international presence that made them indifferent to what Nike was doing. But now that they are investing resources in their North American platform, I think they will be successful.

Ultimately, it will come down to who they sign to endorse.

But Adida is coming.
