If the Jets had not claimed Walford, he would have had a homecoming, as the Dolphins were the only other team to put a claim in on the former Miami Hurricane tight end, per source.

Not true. First not a rookie.... He's been with Oakland for 3 years and never made an impact... His hands are suspect and his blocking in the NFL is almost as bad as Irvin pt 2 here. His blocking got one of the Raiders rbs f'd up. Dont dislike dude.... He balled for the canes.... But for Raiders? JAG!!!!!
