Waardenburg enrolling early

Walker makes what was an already strong class exceptional. He joins four-star point guard Chris Lykes and four-star power forward Deng Gak. Four-star power forward Sam Waardenburg had been a part of the class but will instead enroll early, making him a 2016 recruit.

That means he can play in the second half, right?

He needs some work, but there is definitely some skill there for Coach L and co to work with. It will be interesting to see how Sam adjusts to playing against black people.

Waardenburg will not play this season and will be considered a redshirt freshman during the 2017-2018 season. It Is nice though to have him enroll in january, not lose any eligibility, and be able to have that whole semester of practice and being on the bench during games. He basically gets a semester head start. And Coach L is the best in the country at player development. The players in this program since the time Larranaga has gotten here have gotten noticeably better each year. It is very impressive and enjoyable to watch when the season comes around.
