VT is overrated ND is the toughest team left in our schedule

NCSt is a 7.5 underdog. I’d take them without the points. NCSt is the toughest team left on our schedule.

I keep seeing this "NC State is a good team" narrative and I just don't get it.

They lost to an average South Carolina team to start the season. They beat a trash FSU team, and Louisville lost to friggin' BC last week (the same team that ND steamrolled Week 3). I've watched each of those games and nothing the Wolfpack do makes me think they could threaten a team that's actually good at football (no, Pitt doesn't count).

As for the VT/ND/overrated debate, I think both are very, very good football teams. We need to bring it for both games because if we don't, I have trouble seeing us playing from behind against either.

NC State isn't on our schedule unless we were to meet in the ACCCG
That’s the point. I expect to meet them in the ACCCG. I used to think it was Clemson, and part of me wants to play Clemson, but the Wolfpack are playing good football at the moment. NCSt isn’t the same team that lost to SC (which can be said about a lot of early loss teams), and SC has played horrible and decent - like almost all of the SEC teams this year.

Ryan Finley is a competent QB and is the best QB Miami can possibly play before CFP. He’s good (passer rating 150). And, they run the ball well and play solid defense. They have more pluses than their opponent this week. And, most people who haven’t been playing attention are sleeping on them.

As long as Bud Foster is DC VT is not over rated. It always seems they have 12 men on the field on his defense as there always seems to be someone unblocked.

Why so many dislikes **** cant even state an opinion on here and if you compare both ND and VT schedules you will see what I mean.

Lame *** attempt to cover up the fact you didn’t even know our remaining schedule.

Total bullshīt explanataion after the fact.

You didn’t know the schedule and so you try to cover it up with a retarded explanation that we’re meeting NC State in the ACCCG. Do you think most people of average intelligence are stupid enough to believe that bullshīt lie?

You know how you can tell when people are lying? They give long-winded, convoluted explanations to try to cover up their lies, like above.

You got caught, chief. Don’t insult people's intelligence with this ****amamie ACCCG story.

Most of you guys don't even bother to compare teams so I'm not shocked that you don't see what the toughest game left in our schedule really is.

Regardless, VT is the one frigging team that could beat us even when we were good. Never under-estimate them. We will win but it could be another close one. The good news is that now it is our team that never quits. Every game is a playoff game for us now. Win and advance.

VT is good. Glad we got them at home. They don't run the ball all that well, so that should bode well for us. They try to bounce everything outside. I'll need to see them throw the ball against a good team to think their throw game is top notch. They're good though. Best part about that team is those Edmunds lunatics. Those 2 guys destroy gameplans.

ND played yesterday as well as anyone I've seen this year not named Alabaga. If they're firing on all cylinders like last night, they'll be favored to beat us. They've completely turned their team around this year with the DC hire from Wake. And Wimbush brings the legs to the QB position that they missed last year with Kizer. That RB Adams should be a Heisman finalist. I haven't seen anyone do anything with him this year. Maybe they have, but I must not have seen those games. He's the best RB I've seen this year.

UGA shut Adams down

Both teams running games is what worries me.After watching Syracuse gouge that defense yesterday Manny will have to make MAJOR adjustments for us to beat either of those teams.

They ran 93 plays & didn't get 400 yards.

They ran for almost 300

Which were mostly qb draws and qb scrambles against man coverage while throwing 4 picks. If that's all the offense that VT or ND can generate ill take it.

UGA shut Adams down

He had 113 yards of offense in that game, so I don't think that qualifies as getting shut down.

He's going to be a major problem because he breaks tackles and he's very fast. We don't tackle all that well, and I'm not so sure how fast we are when he gets to the 2nd level.

Win the coastal; get to Charlotte. Focus on VT those who haven't figured it out.

We could lose to ND and still make the playoffs if we win the rest and beat a 1 loss CLemson team

Disagree. One loss ACC team has a slim of getting in, and I mean slim. A one loss Bama, UGA, Pedo State, OSU, and ND will all get in ahead of us. If Bama and UGA meet in the SEC Champ game as undefeated teams, that's two playoff slots already taken because the loser of that game is still getting in.

Need PSU to beat OSU next weekend.

This.
