VT game environment?

Nahhh that stadium on Saturday? It was loud. But we still have another level or two to reach.

I'm not saying that it wasn't as loud as it's ever been at the Rock, not saying it didn't mirror some classic nights in the OB like some are saying..

What I'm saying is, there wasn't any like... REAL DEAL situations where the crowd NEEDED to be loud. Sure, we had some big 3rd downs, etc. etc.

But pero let me tell you something.... if ND comes down to the 4th quarter, close game, and we need the crowd to get louder... there's still a couple levels we can go.

I agree. There is next level loud that we will hear sAt night.

Awesome feedback guys!

Trying to get down there this weekend. It will be insane. No more negative recruiting about how the fans do not support the home team and do not fill the stadium.

Definitely not, there were a bunch of recruits there going around each section. Cool to see and I think they understood how full and loud that stadium was

**** was wild! At one point you couldn't even here the refs talking on the mic. Notre Dame is going to be crazy!

It was crazy before the game, LOUD during and even after we were chanting as we were exiting the stadium. It was LIVE on Saturday! Best CFB atmosphere I've been in.

I thought it was really loud, but I thought FSU last year was louder. To be fair, this time I didn't have the warchant being blasted right at me from the band.

My son is now legally deaf.
Everything was nuts, starting with Cane Walk.
I agree with Noah above. We can kick it up 2 or 3 notches above VT.
Stop playing Seven Army whatever on third down. Too mellow.
We CAN NOT leave anything at the Stadium Saturday night.
CAN'T WAIT!

Incredible atmosphere there on saturday u could feel it walking into the stadium pregame.. and the boys proceeded to put a show we all wanted!!

This yall are crazy..when Coley caught that TD on 4th down last year that was the loudest that stadium has ever been.. V Tech was nice but it wasnt as loud as FSU last year..mainly because the game wasnt that close

I asked the VT fans behind me how they like our "empty stadium".
They said it was un-funking believable.

Probably the most consistently loud the crowd has ever been at Hard Rock. And I've been to almost every single home game since they moved. Every Virginia Tech possession, it sounded like the roof was gonna get blown off. Haven't yelled that much at a game in at least a decade. Even late in the 4th, when the game was locked up, 90% of the crowd was still there making noise. ****, people were so hyped up, nobody left the parking lot after the game, everyone stayed and started tailgating again. Usually, I hang around for a while and let the traffic file out but Saturday night (Sunday morning) everybody was staying.

As for the FSU game last year, there were probably stretches where it was louder than ever but there were quite a few lulls during that game. The only time the crowd wasn't going ape **** on Saturday was when Miami had the ball.

I disagree. There were more Cane's fans there Saturday than FSU 2016.
I'll go with you're assessment though.
That means we have to be LOUDER.

Just listen for yourself.

I can agree with that

As loud as it has ever been post-OB and probably louder than any OB game I've ever been to where they didn't close the horseshoe. The canopy adds to the decibel levels, for sure, but the crowd was on all night and did not stop the entire game. People were even consistently screaming through television time outs. Consistent, loud, noise. Awesome stuff.

Been a season ticket holder for over 35 years and that was one of the loudest if not loudest games I've ever been too.

I'm also a Dolphins season ticket holder and that place was like a morgue last night compared to Saturday.
