They really should have won that game. For as well as we played at times, we were fortunate to get the dub. Kinda like the UNC game, but in our favor. I was happy about the win...but not about the play. The offense missed on a few big plays and our defense needs to play much, much better.

Hedley had a monster game

like we were with UNC and VT, VA probably wins that game more often than not in the S+P

They won't be as good without Hall but that defense was probably the 2nd best we'll face all season.

I believe we beat them in mist stat categories so it would be interesting to see what his analysis would bring about

I observed the same after rewatching. Our fumble recovery was huge and so was the 4th down stop. Couple of other plays I cant recall now but as you mentioned, UNC ,there were like 5 plays UNC had to have to win that game and we win otherwise. We got the breaks vs UVA.

I don't see how anybody can say they should have beat us when we made plays in all 3 phases of the game and they didn't

Offenseutscored them in red zone
Defense: turned them over, stopped them in the red zone multiple times
Special Teams: blocked field goal
