Expect to see Connor Jones pitching for Virginia. He beat us last time, giving up one earned run and striking out 11.

Suarez pitched better than Woodrey did against Virginia, which would play right into what we said yesterday about flipping the rotation because of Woodrey's pitch count last week.

"curb stomping" of GT is hardly impressive at this point, but tomorrow should be interesting as UVA is hot right now.

That'll about do it for that National Seed after a loss to Virginia tomorrow.

Vs. Virginia:

Baseball (last 9 games): 3-6
Basketball (last 6 games): 3-3
Football (last 5 games): 1-4

I'm not exactly ready to count tomorrow as a win just yet.

**** you never know with UM traveling up there...for the first time in quite sometime, I was ready to count GT as a win for obvious reasons, but did not want to see an already acclimated UVA team. Pretty important in my eyes for Morris to truly treat this game as an all in with Thursday off. The good news I guess is that the bats were nowhere like what they are now when we went to UVA.

Canes really need this win. I know the streak is great, but most of those wins were over terrible teams!!

Exactly. The streak is impressive, but it won't mean a thing if the Canes fizzle and lose out on a National Seed in my opinion.
