Great commentary. "We have a real program and can play any team in the country". Mario is getting the job done, not always pretty, but getting there and I believe he is also improving on the job.
 
Mario just gotta cut out the random brainfart games. Team was too talented to do that. He get's that fixed and we're a contender every year.
 
For all of you who were around back in the early 80’s, remember Jimmy didn’t become Jimmy overnight. He wasn’t the best Xs & Os coach when he got here. He was a great recruiter, had an eye for talent and knew how to motivate his guys. Once he surrounded himself with the right assistants is when Miami took off. Let’s hope the same holds true with Mario. GO CANES!!!

Many UM fans wanted to fire JJ in 1984, then the next 4 years were history.
