Venerables

Obviously also big time money not the most important thing to him. Has turned down offers for interviews for head coaching jobs. Maybe just waiting for right offer

Best in the biz in a world now a days where defense is a lost cause.

he’s so **** good he had his two sons on the field while we STILL struggled to put the **** ball in the end zone

Lashlee got owned but that man knows what it takes
I agree but it's a bit deeper than that. Our wide receivers are a liability right now. Venables assumed his 4/5 star DBs could play man against our receivers all night allowing him to stack the box and blitz at will. He was right and Lashlee didn't have an answer for it all night.

His kids are smart and disciplined. Always in the right spot doing the right thing.

Doubt it. I believe Venerables makes around $2 mil per year which is ridiculous for a coordinator.

The amount he gets paid compared to his responsibility is pretty favorable. Being the HC comes with a crap ton more of responsibility, and the payoff and difference won't be as much.

If I were him, I'd stay as a D-coordinator.

He had them amped for This game.

They Didn’t look nearly as good last week vs. UVA in a boring game.

He is good. I knew he would have them ready after hearing about this Miami offense all week.

Lashlee got legit OWNED tonight. That was embarrassing. Playcalling was ****, no creativity, no adjustments. Literally nothing aside from King making things happen on his own with his feet.

Time for entire board to knock the crown off Lashlee's head we gave him. a bye week for that? LOL

I'm not sure he's the best in the business. I think the best ones have gone on to become HCs.

That said, he knew what to draw up to beat us tonight - but then I've been slightly puzzled how Lashlee has been able to win with the Pope / Harley / Wiggins trio at WR and a running game that basically consists of a zone read.

Lashlee clearly needs a Plan B, cos Venables was all over Plan A tonight like a rash.

Reminded me a little of those great Pittsburgh and Eagles teams, who used to just put their CBs on an island and bring the blitz.

It's much easier to call plays when you don't have to worry about the WRs.

NO CLEMSON IS JUST MORE TALENTED THAN US PERIOD.

Who would disagree with you on that game? That’s easy money
The group of fans that still want to have hope in Manny. This game was the ultimate test of the season and the team pretty much looked like how they always look going up against top teams--lifeless, unprepared, and slow. I'm officially done with him. All of this starts at the top.

Took Lashlee’s lunch money while fcn his wife. Was completely outclassed tonight. He had no answers, if not for Kings broken scrabbles and special teams tds, there would be no scores.

I agree. Plus being an HC means being the face of the program and I'm sorry but Venables comes across like a crackhead.
