Easy schedule - once again our prime competition.
Game in Blacksburg will be big.

Louisville will suck next year. No Jackson and a bunch of other starters. Same with USF (Flowers).
 
Wouldn't be shocked if this was the private ideal scenario for VA Tech in the ACC championship game every year unless there is a team (Miami) who can just light it up. They almost always have either 7 home games, 6 home +1 regionally convenient neutral site game(DC, TENN, etc), or like this year where they have 8 games in one year where they never even have to leave the state of VA.

Fans travel well within the ACC PA to GA corridor because it's a big public school of 30k in the middle of nowhere where they don't have to worry about game attendance because there is absolutely nothing else to do on Saturdays. Combine that with the love affair with the rural America Beamer culture that has been built and you have an instant league favorite.

Louisvile back up qb jawon pass was a top 5 dual threat qb coming out of high school. He had to sit behind lamar the last 2 years but he was highly thought of coming out.
 
Interestingly enough, we have the exact same conference schedule this year. Can't remember that happening

So what? Torrance Gibson was the #2 ranked dt qb....Doesn't mean that he'll be remotely close to Jackson.

So what? Torrance Gibson was the #2 ranked dt qb....Doesn't mean that he'll be remotely close to Jackson.

First off gibson was a horrible comparison because everybody knew he wasn't a qb. And did i say he will be jackson? Im saying they have a talented qb prospect to work with and petrino is one of the best offenses coaches in cfb.

They’ll probably be a better team because they’ll need to work, not just snap the ball to Lamar and watch! Lamar Jackson would’ve been a college football legend in a big program!
 
Low key their schedule set them up similar to how ours set us up nicely last year. Other then FSU all their big games are at home.

Yeah but in 10 years, will people really remember him? Will there be who's the next Lamar Jackson segment? I dont think so. He wasnt enough talked about for the stats he was getting.

I’m hoping FSwho gets beat by Virginia Tech. I can see FSWho loosing between 3and 4 games next year.
 
Playing Notre Dame and FSU is rare for them. It's actually one of their harder seasons. They may overlook some Coastal opponents if they focus on these marquis names. In any case, if Miami takes care of business then VT will be a non factor.
 
Can't wait to go back to Lane Stadium this year it's a great venue. I was only there one time so far, but it was that thriller in 11' where we ended up losing 38-35. Lamar Miller put on a clinic that day.
