And yet, posters on here will hype this game up to be some massive test. We lose guys and so do they. Us losing RJ and his tail are as impactful as them losing Settle. Guys like Settle aren't filling up their depth chart. Most likely will be an 8:00 night game on a Saturday. Good chances of gameday as the coastal might be on the line again, but we need to start pounding teams like this into knowing we ARE THE COASTAL. Enough with letting these teams hang around. Second biggest game on the schedule behind FSU, we must act like it.

That said, I don't see the school ever standing up to them that way, and the ACC is going to keep effing with us into the foreseeable future. In case you hadn't noticed, the U is not particularly liked in the Carolinas.

I agree on the dislike part. But you and I both know Money talks. The Miami VT game is probably the best ACC game this year. No way they put that on a Thursday. They will want that to be prime time. Hope you're right. We've seen those Carolina "blue bloods" make a lot of decisions though that put other things, even petty envy, above $$$ though. Good point that ESPN on the other hand is a solid ally for us in this.

Still, I really do think it would be a good policy, if not an outright rule, for the conference to adopt to waive weeknight games for teams ranked in the preseason or at the end of the previous season. Sending Clemson to Syracuse on a Thursday night was not good for the conference's bottom line. It worked out in the end, but it could have cost the conference a playoff spot. It's just ******* stupid.

Miami vs FSU???

That is a big one too, probably our only shot at Gameday, but man they won’t be very good. That’s why I give the VT game an edge. More on the line. Similar to this year.

No doubt. Richt complained about that early on when he arrived. It's a solid complaint.
