There are only a small handful of P4 schools that have never hosted Gameday and Cal is one of them -- I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN takes that into consideration. Plus, there probably won't be any other ranked matchups that week.

Plus there are story angles in "west coast teams join ACC" and "will some west coast teams rejoin the PAC".

Cal just needs to beat F$U.
