Users should be able to ignore threads

Users should have the ability to ignore threads they rather not see in the forum list. This would benefit the user in having a clean thread list and benefit the website by having the user posts in more threads.

You'll lose way more views and engagement when a poster blocks a hot take take thread when it only has 4 pages of replies only for it to balloon to 50 pages overnight imo. This sight is for derelicts not tourist. We're here for worldstar canesnews.

It would only allow users to ignore specific threads or forums. I doubt users frequent threads they don't want to view so it shouldn't cause any change in traffic.

Along these lines, how about thread reputation scores on the homepage where threads are listed so we have an idea if it's worth reading or is a disaster from the outset?
