Go figure. Oh, but CMR would have to relieve himself of those duties, or CHIT-CAN Junior. Nevertheless, either scenario will not happen this season and probably not next season. So it is what it is in Thee Gables.

Ill laugh if he brings him here as the next Oline coach if he gets rid of Searles...he was Richt's oline coach at UGA. Disaster if he does.
 
I was waiting for someone to bring up USC firing. This is TOTALLY different from Miami. Clay Helton is on the SUPER HOT SEAT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, and a good chance he would have been fired mid-season if not making at least some move. The move he made was firing OL coach who Clay said was like a second father, in my eyes this is like when Coker sacrificing Kehoe, Soldinger etc the year after LSU so he wouldn’t lose his job. Heltons days are numbered and this is like putting a bandaid on a massive open wound.

Mark Richt is not going to lose his job so he isn’t going to make a desperate move, I hope he makes changes or is forced to at the end of the season but nothing will happen till then or at least end of regular seasons.

USC and Miami situations are not at all similar
