Central Michigan was coached and played above their pay grade. They lost but can hold their heads high. They didn’t have the talent, but didn’t waste what they had.
I would be more optimistic if we could just do the basics right, just play disciplined, just play to our potential, even if it’s clear the talent isn’t there yet. We can get that. We could see a foundation at least with that. We have been out coached in 3 out of 4 games, we are like 121 in penalties!
We are building on soft soil. Even if we had Clemson talent, we may win a few more, but we’d still underperform. Coaching, attitude, entitlement, plain old stupidity? All this rah rah TNM hasn’t changed fixing the very basics of what you can fix regardless of talent level. I have no answer, just frustrating.
