We would not be bowl eligible. FCS teams only recently started counting toward bowl eligibility. Let that sink in

One better. Saw this earlier this weekend:

We would not be selected to an 8 team playoff...of ACC only teams

Yep, and that's only because there are a million useless bowls. So, the only way to fill them is to allow teams that can't even win half of their 1-FBS games a back door by beating someone you should be ashamed of scheduling.

kind of like parenting these days, trophies for 10th place and a "great job" like Gaylord Focker

Not entirely true...the rule was that you could only count a win over an FCS team toward bowl eligibility every other year.

We are still ******* ****** though. Point is that last year we would have been in exactly the same ****** bowl as we are this year.

The original run was you could only count one FCS win a year towards being bowl eligible. Then they switched to the above rule. Then they did away with both rules when do many bowls started up.

You have always been able to count FCS wins towards a bowl .

Fortunately for Alverage, South Carolina is in the same boat this season. 6-6 with one win over an FCS skool.
