2015 UM commit speaks with Orlando's ABC-WFTV about his up coming season and status of UM commitment. Just a heads up WFTV is very pro-UF and FSU with UCF being the stepchild in it's own hometown.

It was part of a high school media event ABC held over 2 days lat week in which they interviewed over a 200 players from Central Florida

Good for him... I'm proud of him!!! It's a shame they are trying to sway him and I see opportunity at either school... I hope he stays!!! I like his running style! Go Canes!
 
Nice interview from DW. Short and sweet with a until you sign the paper you can always switch comment from the interviewer.

Solid part at the end:

When you look back on this season what do you want people to remember about the team: We always fought hard and represented ourselves like young men.

Exactly I don't like the WFTV sports folks they have a tendency to be douches. For example listen to the difference in the interview they have with the DB from Cocoa HS who is committed to UF

Yeah it was so bias. Pretty much giving him flack for being signed to Miami
 
This kid is a straight-up Cane. Can't fux with a "gut feeling." The fact that he's withstood all the heat so far and hasn't wavered tells me all I need to know. Short of completely sh**ing the bed this year, this kid will be scoring TDs for the U.

The sports reporter even did it with FSU WR commit Nyqwan Murray who is doesn't have a UF offer according rivals, but the guy still subtly pushed UF.

An the reporters look sad whenever they have to report about one of UF's players getting arrested for a felony, which is quite often.

Yeah I watched the video too just too see if it was just against Miami but nope every school. I was hoping nyqwan commit here..he is a stud.
 
Biased much? What an ******* that reporter is. The opposite of the local Miami media ****ing all over the program every day.

On a positive note nice job Dex. Way to represent yourself and the U! Very well done.
 
So far so good. At this point, with all the pressure from family and gayter fans, he solid. Kid just aint feeling the gayters! Deal with it! Happy he repped the U with his Canes hat. Good sign his mind made up.
 
dexter handled that like a boss, sad the way the reporter pretty much begged him to de-commit during the interview but im just glad our boy held his ground.

UCF gets love from the media because they have to, but the local media go out of their way to promote UF and FSU. For instance the local CBS affiliate (WKMG-CBS) has a UF after the game show Titled "Gator Game Day", but they don't do that for UCF.

Al and Ice had better make a trip to Orlando and convert Papa Williams to being a Cane, it could be easier than they think. Muschamp is skating on thin ice in Gainesville and he's not very popular with the players as he's constantly yelling at them in a negative way.
